Biogeographic Distribution

Due to the uncertainty of the species identity it is impossible to know its exact distribution around the world.However, it is known that the species was collected from Moreton Bay in Queensland (-27.24, 153.246). Because of this, known local climatic conditions and the known natural currents in the region, it may be assumed that this species can be found along most of Queensland’s coast.
